- another 7/7 so telling you all 243 days in a row next week HI FROM 243 DAYS
- 1700-1800 cal/day **5 days at 1700, 1 at 1880, 1 at 1560 so the average is there **
- rest wrists as much as possible given am back to work… did better
- wrist and hip PT daily did as made sense, overdid hip PT and took an extra day off to recover which was the smart move. So not “daily” but as made sense which is the real goal
- dont overdo unnecessary scrollign and typing (can use speech to text for typing sometimes) did better, need to use speech to text more
- don’t overdo new mobility did well
- use/practice 2 min pause skill sometimes practiced, used once or twice
goals for coming week
- 7/7 days healthy coping to get to the big 250 next week
- 1700 cals daily
- hang on til thurs when have appt for what I hope is carpal tunnel treatment (cortisone)
- use speech to text more
- limit unnecessary scrolling/typing on computer and phone
- use 2 min pause skill, anxiety and depression super high in a rebound effect from coming off a med we were trying for it (med was making me unable to sleep so had to stop it). Remind self this WILL go away and I had 2 really good happy days last week
- PT for hip and wrist in a productive manner (I’m so weak it’s easy to overdo it)
mostly I’m just trying to hang on over here.

Dr. TC, that sounds way better than just trying to hang on - that sounds like actual, real, tangible achievement! Looking forward to reading about the Big 250
I raced at LD nationals yesterday. It highlighted work I need to do. So I need to get a plan together for that.
Last week ended up as an unplanned down week. Wasn’t planning to run much anyway and after having drinks with some friends on Wed (including alcohol which is pretty rare for me) I took Thu off training. Ended up with: 7k swim, 5hrs bike, 14k run; and did half my S&C schedule. And that’s ok.
For now, all talk of marathon training is postponed. I’m not even doing triathlete amounts of running. And that’s ok too (one only has to have followed along with DrT’s travails for a while to realise there is much to be grateful for). So this week will look more like a triathlon plan, albeit with a cautious running load. Oh, and achilles rehab; did I mention I have to do achilles rehab?

Swam 1000m for the first time. Pretty sure I’m way over kicking and my left arm is a wet noodle, but it’s progress.
