We had the Concise List of super extentions thread but it seems to have dried out, not being updated. It also has a handful of suppliers / bars that are gone now.
Are there any new / good / economic options out there, feel vere free to share here!
I am looking to upgrade my Argon 18 E119 Tri+ Disc, but not really willing to put down 2000-3000 EUR/USD.
I’m still waiting on fatigue testing but here is a tease of my new aerobar with extensions and profile tri stem with hydration. It will be in display at the OEM trade show Taichung bike week next week and some other builds still in transit
It’s full arm support. Have adapters to universal dusk stack but waiting on bar to assemble to. Aero 22.2 with aero sleeves. From top and front it’s very clean. Will be cheaper than others. What exactly are you seeking? Our full arm supports csr+ will be around 600 usd. Waiting on some parts to test full system together for safety.
I have the Watt Shop v2 on my Speed Concept. They are nice and straight forward install. Lots of accessories and options available even to suit an ultra distance tt’er. They are however very expensive.
I kind of dig that set up. Wonder if it’s made to accommodate old school cable shifters. I really, really don’t like the type of bar that cranks your wrist down at an unnatural angle. I’ve ridden bars like that and generally can only go about 10 miles or so before my wrists start to fatigue. I actually want some bars where the grip portion is almost vertical. But I ride an old Shiv so doubt there’s much out there for that any more.
question : i have a tfe pro size L and a cervelo tfe adapter. but it is far from enough reach. someone knows a solution to something like 5cm reach ? i have found the tririg wingspan, but a little short and a mess to buy in europe
What I am looking for (and what understand as the “super” in super aero bar extentions) is something similar to what Magnus is on below. Obviously, his are super customized, and probably has a super massive price tag to it.
But I was thinking/hoping that some suppliers would start tapping into this market at more reasonable prices.
