28 seconds for me.
Dodgy the neutral mechanic pushing him . . .
Meh, he would do it for everybody Iām sure.
heās still within 1 min at the following timing point and on Linders wheel, great outcome Iād say
This is what I said about Bluās flat, just ride it until you can organize the change. And Iden is very quick witted, enough to tell the guy to go ahead, stop and get wheel ready so as not to lose that standing time too. He seems to be having a good day thus far, and getting to the back of that lead group keeps him in the race without a match burnedā¦
some issues for Danielle Lewis, she lost 2 mins in a 5k split and Jewett is back in front of her
Why? He lost time due to the flat. Itās better for the sport if the mechanic pushes him and flats end up impacting the outcome less.
Top 6 getting away. Stornes, Kanute and Hirsch trying to bridge at 30 secs, and the rest of the previous front group at about a minute
Yes quick witted and the only one of the 3 Norwegian hype train to graduate high-school as he pointed out a few times.
Iden and Chevalier dropped form the chase, now at 1.40.
Big moment in general, Von Berg is about to lose the race with Blu and Benito in the front 6 getting awayā¦
Other surprise is Trevor Foley going backwards on the bike, got dropped also by his own chase group 12 mins back
von berg really working hard on the chase and is solo now 1 min back, heās about to catch hirsch and stornes
I was entertained by it - everyone screws up once in a while. Might have helped if āboomerā dad was there to moderate / lead the panel. Funny when Talbot seems like the grown-up
Iden is bleeding time to the front group. Bummer.
That 12 meter draft distance does actually provide a useful benefit.
yeah ship has sailed, I think he couldnāt jump on any of the moves in front.
heās gonna end up in T2 at least 5mins back I reckon
Does Kallin have some sort of storage between his front wheel and frame closing that gap? Or was that just a weird camera angle
He did ride for a bit but the āroad he was on at the time was really rough.
Von Berg caught and passed Hirsch and Stornes but heās still a minute back and I donāt think heāll get any help in chasing the big boys up front.
Chevalier and Iden bleeding roughly 30 seconds every 5k, 3.20 down now
Thatās my thought: Seeing how much time Iden is losing says a lot about the draft benefit of that front group, imo.
Maybe like Frankfurt last year.
But Iden losing time after his mechanical after comfortably with the front group all day prior to the mechanical kind of says everything about how much an advantage that front group might have. 20m needed? maybe if PTN would just talk about it for once
Taylor now has 8 mins on the chasers. Looks like Kat is maybe dropping Lisa Perterer
