Von Berg has cut 15 secs off the front lead, 45 seconds back now. Will he catch and will he pay this effort on the run?

Knibb went through half way in 2:07:46. Your 2:13 might be pretty close! Though Matthews at half way in 2:08:58 (Perterer 2:08:34).
Knibb - Matthews at 83 miles: <8 minutes back (5:45 behind leaving T1) and Perterer has ‘let her go’ (as @pier87 says)
I would say Perterer is locked on for the podium. She is the best runner of those who are competition (Jewett is 22 minutes back - latter’s KQ looking dodgy )

Hogenhaug bike falling apart! Not sure he can still ride with his whole cockpit looking completely loose…
And Von Berg has pretty much closed the whole gap, only 10 seconds back from the tail of the front group…great effort and clearly race awareness

Who cares about this stuff, so far knibb races a text book ironman
Risky move to go solo like that - lots of work to hold the split solo and certainly to bridge - clear statement of intent.

Taylor seems now in front of the group of 5 pro guys she was stuck with for pretty much the last 20-30k, curious to see her pace now

Wurf will smash the bike record, if any athletes in the front group has a decent 2H 40 run, they will also improve the course record by around 10 minutes!

I think Hogenhaug stopped to fix the bike but they are not showing it, he lost about a minute and is now with Stornes and Hirsch
Taylor Knibb has dropped most of the guys that were on her wheel. Have to say it’s quite embarrassing they’re all trying to hard to draft her, she’s destroying them. And to be fair, I think they’re drafting the moto with the camera on her looking at the gaps…
Kat has gained about 10 second back…they’ll probably end up 8 mins apart in T2

Curious to hear Trevor Foley’s story later on. Already 15min behind. He will pick up some people on the run, but he lost 8 minutes on the bike. That doesn’t match his confidence in his latest video.
