Not sure that Iden and Stornes have the legs to run well in a full.

Holy cow, top 19 men within 1:09. Kats going to catch Rachel and come off the bike in 2nd but she might be as much as 8+min down.

The Kat and Perterer duo appear to be sharing the load and riding 1mph faster than Taylor at this point.

Perterer rode up to Matthews in the first few miles and they have been a duo since 12km. Good front rider sharing compared with Knibbās nose in the wind for 260 minutes.
Matthews has lost <90 seconds to Knibb on the bike in 105km. At this rate the gap will be <9 minutes at T2. But still think Knibb is on Lorang-dictated restraint mode, wanting to start the run with less fatigue, given her lack of experience (runs more than 14 miles).
Perterer ran really well in Singapore three weeks ago (not dissimilar conditions once Houston heats up after noon).
I wonder if Blu is sandbagging a bit as there is nobody that should be nowhere near as fast on the runā¦it feels incredibly slow for his standards.
unfortunately I think there are a few slow male pro in the perterer-matthews area looking at the timingā¦

So this was the mechanical refered to earlier or Iden has had x2 mechanicals in this race?
the previous mechanical was just him fiddling about with the bike, there wasnāt time loss, he never left the front group
