Wove saddles

Hi there, I just posted an update two days ago up above

Thanks for the emailed update.

Seems like people will be getting their orders over the next few weeks, myself included. It’s been a long wait but I’m quite excited, and honestly I didn’t need the saddle ASAP anyways. This is the last piece for a Speed Concept I built that I’ll be racing at 70.3 World’s this year.

From my email, it should be shipped in 2 weeks during the week of 6/16. Fingers crossed!

Same here, ordered 10/29. Maybe too late for Coeur d’Alene but that’ll have some time to try it out and experiment with my hydration setup a bit before Boise.

Just sent out a large shipment today, including a big team shipment to The Working Triathlete team who came out to Boulder last July for a team camp and tried the saddles in person and then placed a team order. Thank you to them for their incredible patience!

And our manufacturer has hired enough people and produced enough tooling to allow us to produce 200 saddle per week within the next couple of weeks. That’s been a big push to simultaneously achieve our quality control standards and our production quantity numbers.

Any thoughts on when these will ship direct from stock? How long until you think you will catch up?

Mags are shipping same week, V8 will begin shipping same week second week of July

FWIW the official estimate I was given for my V8+ saddle was shipping the week of June 16th (today) or the week after.

Did you order the 7x9 saddle clamp ears from Trek? Assuming you’ve not already swapped the stock round ones out. Just mentioning so you don’t have another frustrating delay when the Wove arrives.

Oh I’ve had the 7x9 clamp for a while now

I’ve got a Trek Speed Concept 2025 model. Do I need an additional 7x9 clamp to mount the Wove TT saddle?

Yeah it requires the 7x9 ears.

@Nick_wovebike any idea when a certain bottle cage might be available to the general public?

Thanks

Planning this July

We were having an issue where stiffer bottles, such as those made by polar and specialized, were getting caught on the rear rib of the cage, making insertion more difficult than it should have been. We just recently ramped that section of the rear rib so that this would not happen. This has not been an issue using Elite bottles, which are more flexible, but we are glad that we caught this.

And as a general update:

We are at a point now where we have Mags saddles sitting on the shelves in inventory. The only people waiting to receive their Mags saddles are those who simultaneously ordered V8 saddles.

We will be fully caught up on V8 saddles in the next several weeks. We completely remade all of the tooling for the foam on the V8 to make achieving our quality control standards more reliable. And the saddles look so good that we are actually taking what we have learned and remaking the tooling next week for the Mags saddle.

I can say with confidence that this new level of quality and aesthetics is higher than anything we have done to date and, if the recipient is the type of person that studies a saddle closely like we do, they will greatly appreciate our attention to detail.

:tada:

Can’t wait to try it out in Boise next month.

Same here, and based on your order number you’ve waited slightly longer than me.

Curious if anyone else has received their V8+ saddle?
