Realized I was doing it with electric clippers while sitting on the toilet…almost dropping the clippers into the water below I wondered how I could avoid becoming a Darwin Award winner.
When you are trimming your goods, do you just stand and sweep/vacuum the mess up or is there another technique???
Please help me avoid electrical shock therapy to my ‘area’

Shave in shower with shower off. Put clippers away. Take shower.
The shaving causes ingrown hairs…otherwise I would, you must have a nice hairy drain!

Yeah, it’s like asking the details of how to pick one’s nose

As someone else said, use the buzzer standing in the shower (shower off). Take shower.
Do it often enough that the hair isn’t too much for the drain.
Straight razor well sharpened … best done with your eyes closed

Stand on a large towel for the hair to fall on. Once you finish your business just take it outside. Be careful though, I remember a scene from American Pie where this process turned ugly.
Gillette Fusion, or any other household razor. Been doing it for 6 years…never cut myself. KNOCK ON WOOD PLEASE KNOCK ON WOOD!!! ok that sounded horrible, but if I cut myself now I’m going to be PISSED.

I take a huge trash bag, spread it out over the bathroom floor and stand over that. I don’t like using towels since the hair gets caught in the towel and even washing it doesn’t get all the hair out. pick up the trashbag when your done and throw it all away. =]

Every other weekend, I use the clippers on my head (with no guard), then put a #1 guard on and do… other areas. Take my advice and use the guard when doing delicate areas :-).
The “spread huge trash on floor” technique is a great convenience. My total hair-care budget come out to something like $4.00/year. My fiancee probably spend that much in two days.
I would recommend doing it outside away from a door and not giving an F about the hair, but that may or may not be feasible depending on where you live.
I just use a bic lighter and burn it off. Add denatured alcohol if you’re short on time.

X2, it burns pretty clean, too…
In the summer I shave my head at least once a week. Do it in shower with shower off, then get out dust buster or mini vac clean up prior to shower getting wet. Takes no time to clean up that way
