What you mean is recent admissions by winners. Very few people who followed cycling from the 80’s into the early-mid nineties think that ANYONE who won was riding clean in those years.

Yeah, he was probably clean when he started. Then he realized he was pretty good and could go far, so he started doping along with everyone else.
I think the sport of cycling needs to be burned to the ground and started back up from nothing. It’s just getting silly. I used to look forward to le Tour starting every year, now I don’t really care.

I know you know this, but you can be a real jerk sometimes (EDIT: which is fine, it’s not like we’re on here to have a big group hug or something…). The Tour de France is the greatest sporting event in the history of ever. And the riders are - shock! - using performance enhancing drugs. Here is something you should be aware of: the top competitors in every sport where there is money to be made are using performance enhancing drugs. From baseball to road running to chess to waterskiing, every sport has a drug problem. Just thought you might like to know.
The thing I do not understand is why cycling’s drug problem seems to be such a PR problem as well. I actually think cycling must be more clean than other sports, because at least they are making an effort to catch dopers.

I’m not a big fan of travelling to races at this point in time so LOP is not on my schedule. I’ve got Camp Pendleton International, LA, BOD, probably Hermosa Day at the beach on my schedule. Maybe you can sail your carboat down the coast?

Does this mean that you think they all cleaned up and then only started using again after Lance retired?
