I guess Ironman are not using the World Tri rules, but pretty sure that the bottom bottle cage with a one litre bottle in will be >250mm to the rear of the reference point (bottom of the lowest point/directly below elbow point of the elbow rest).
And the top of the top bottle will be close to >200mm above the reference point. Though likely an ‘angle of image’ effect.
But you can tell us the measurements.
Interesting point. I have always assumed they are a decent-sized company, since they have been around for as long as I can remember and have a lot of products.
Around for a long time, yes. A lot of products is partly because they let me keep designing stuff and partly because the sales team never want to discontinue a product that is still selling.
But in terms of the size of the team and revenue - there are bike shops that are bigger.
The team is really effective at making PD ubiquitous - strong OE relationships and market presence.
We often get the feeling that pro athletes think PD is being cheap as a ‘big’ company not offering generous contracts. But there simply isn’t the budget for those.
I really like the way it handles - light, agile for a TT bike, stiff where it needs to be, and the room for 30mm tires keeps it comfortable. Feels darn fast too
Really well. Nice and smooth
I rode exclusively on my PSeries until beginning of August and I do a lot of out and backs testing and it can do a quicker 180 than my PSeries
In terms of fast, while it and the PSeries test in the same range, I suspect I could tweak this one to be a bit faster. That is on the schedule.
Well the medium size storage box was a little too small. It bolts up to the seat tube but it’s about 1/4” from the down tube. It’s a well made product with strong magnets holding the lid closed
