If you’ve been around, you will know Dr Tigerchik or have read her threads. I was chatting with her last week and due to her health, she is not able to post regularly, but she still comes and peruse the LR. She did say that she misses interacting with all y’all.
I just thought that if there is a focused thread of messages for her, it would be easier for her to view.
So, please feel free to post messages to her in this thread, along with good bad jokes that she always appreciates.
Hey Doc, we miss seeing you posting on the regular. hope you get better and can make it back into this Wild West portion of the internet. Cannot think of any good maths jokes to throw out there for you at the moment.
Wow. I really hope she is ok and gets back here. I swapped messages with her about ten years ago now about a health issue and she was a an absolute star. Really helped me get my head straight.
Hope you’re better soon. Thanks for your kind words in our PMs. Yay Mainers! Got an early start on Pi Day today. Hope you’re not too strict about that. Delicious.
On behalf of all fellow lurkers of the LR, we welcome you to our humble existence. Like dark matter to the Universe, we greatly outnumber the regular posters and our existence is vital to the inner workings of this place.
We don’t often post, but when we do, it’s precise, often witty, and contains an uncanny working knowledge of all idiosyncrasies of our regular posting community personas.
I do miss your regular contributions. So, although you are welcome to stay a lurker for as long as required, I’ll look forward to the time when you again can post regularly.
oh, by the way, this last sentence was posted using windows text to speech - Try it out. It’s free and easy to set up
I can’t think of another poster who is so consistently positive in their interactions here. When I posted about my wife needing an emergency operation she checked in frequently to see how she/I were holding up.
She’s the best. The best of us for sure. Just a genuine and caring person. I don’t know how she keeps up … she’s gotta have a spreadsheet on all of us!
During the darkest days of my shoulder injury, surgery and recovery, she checked in regularly … just to say hi and inquire as to how I was doing. More frequently than IRL friends.
Hey TC … I hope you are doing well. I know how hard this is for you. Lots of us over here on the inter webs love you lots.
She mentioned significant carpal tunnel (and probably other things) issues with her hands. Unable to type, and I think was working with voice to text for the few times she’s able to post.
Hope she gets better. She’s been dealing with it for a while.
