Tesla Vehicle Vandalism

They always go for the max…Federal sentencing guidelines would be less…but now I’m curious let me see if I can find the grid

In general you’re saying that you support people being able to destroy property just because they feel like it. It’s essentially allowing people to throw tantrums like children.

Mom and pop store of mega corporation, it shouldn’t be ok to vandalize their property. Protest? Sure. Damage? No. Regardless of the size or success.

He didn’t say he supports it, just that he doesn’t care. This thread is odd. Lots of posters trying to argue with the pro vandalism crowd that doesn’t seem to exist.

In post 52 he said this:

“Corporations etc sure.” Means he’s fine with that. Condones = approves.

I think the key message is that if everyone had Teslas then no one would have their cars keyed.

Because Teslas don’t have keys. Also, it is better to send a message by keying the next Falcon 9 you see parked at a Walmart.

Brilliant.

I put my name on the falcon 10 upcoming release. Hope to be on the early list.

This is really where I am too. You hit it on the head with people blindly following by their political affiliation. I think it’s technically called identity politics. That coupled with confirmation bias and it’s not a good thing.

The two party system can be pretty toxic in that regards. The parties both know the hot buttons and push them with statements and agendas that elicit emotions…all in an attempt to make people stop thinking.

Anyway…glad to hear a middle ground voice.

If that’s the closest we have to pro vandalism 86 posts in, I’ll stand by the idea that we aren’t really having much of a debate.

I mean he’s the one who said it. He flat out said he condones vandalism against big corporations.

And I agree with you regarding lack of pro-vandalism posts in this thread and that’s kinda the point of my replies to him. While the rest of us pushed back against the OP’s premise he was the one who said he was ok with it. So I questioned him.

So I agree, we’re not really having much debate but not unreasonable to question the lone poster who is in support of it, I think.

Really? You are promoting crime to support your political beliefs? How are you any different than the Jan 6 MAGA lunatics?

How is keying an already purchased car going to create a financial hit for Tesla?

Dont worry about him, he is just a very rare “bad apple”.

:sunglasses:

There are lots of people working in HHS and DoEd too but the action is at least direct instead of just attacking some unaffiliated random object

A bunch “the people” bought nontranferable securities with no value. Sconnies gonna Sconnie.

I haven’t changed how I live and act in these “not normal times,” have you?

Or we just get less lunatics from both parties running for office

It discourages people from buying them.

So intimidation through violence for political reasons?

I’ll leave the definition of terrorism according to Oxford here to let you attempt to differentiate. Godspeed.

The calculated use of violence or threat of violence to inculcate fear. Terrorism is intended to coerce or intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological.

Keying a vehicle sucks to do. Anytime, anywhere.

This feels so much better. FU Elon.

I always knew all these commies were terrorists:

I’m glad the current administration is not affecting you. It must be nice to not have to worry and deal with the stress. It is affecting me personally and yes I have had to make some major changes in my life at the moment. It’s also affecting people close to me. No these are not “normal times” for many of us, sadly.
