Tesla Vehicle Vandalism

Careful you’re starting to sound like a get tough on crime Republican candidate.

Antisocial gonna Antisocial…

There should be no difference to normal people

People shouldn’t have to do that in a proper society

Keying a Tesla is childish, and a waste of time. They are rapidly deprecating aways

Used Tesla prices depreciated more than any other automaker in 2024 - Fast Company

Infantile brains

Go to Alabama and put a Fuck Trump bumper sticker on your car and leave it at Walmart for a couple of hours.

Report back with the (predictable) results.

How was my statement hyperbolic? I think morally (in a philosophical sense, not practical) the keyer is worse than Musk as they are injuring a derivative third party i.e kicking their dog because the Packers lost whereas Musk is taking direct action i.e. just burning down Lambeau

You think I’d have a different opinion? They deserve the same scorn

Bad angel won out over the good angel for that keyer. It pays to listen with both ears. Few weeks back I a tesla cyber truck blew by me with 3 spray painted swastikas on it’s rear panels. Lucky for him they are in warranty recall for falling off. One angel told me I should be sympathetic, the other guy allowed for me that it was ok to chuckle quietly while at the same time feeling bad for him.

Its a reply in general, as the reply button by default at last poster

i meant more like wal-mart corporations. not mom and pop shops… like spraying a tesla store front, i just don’t care as much. destroying someones personal property, is wrong and i’m against it. when your “founder” does the nazi salute and aligns with white supremacist, there are consequences.

Keying a Tesla is wrong, but it’s not like kicking your dog because the Packers lost.

Your dog played no role in the Packers loss, whereas Tesla owners do/did play some role in Musk’s ascendancy. And, kicking your dog won’t change the Packers’ behavior going forward, whereas, at some point, the financial hits to Tesla and therefore Musk have the potential to influence Musk.

The problem is there are a ton of people working in Lambeau, in the concessions, cleaning the stands, in the back offices, etc. maybe don’t burn it down while their still there working just because your team lost.
The even more ironic part of your analogy is that “the people” own the Packers, and some of those owners are cheering on the bonfire.

Comparing the morality of some low-life vandal to Musk is intrinsically hyperbolic, no?

DOGE’s actions are adversely affecting a great number of people besides those federal employees directly affected. Innocent third parties - the citizens of this country.

Windy, I don’t disagree with you. But what is a proper society? These are not normal times.

That’s beauty of being an independent. I can be a pro-choice, tough on crime, environmentalist, free speech proponent.

We need more independents and less blind followers of political parties like they are sports teams. I think voters should be required to cross party lines on at least one issue or candidate to have their ballot counted. We’d be in a lot better place if that was the case.

§ 844(i), the penalty for arson involving property used in interstate commerce ranges from a minimum of five years to a maximum of 20 years and up to 40 years if the offense caused personal injury. Fines: Under 18 U.S.C. § 81 and 18 U.S.C. § 844(i), individuals convicted of arson can face fines of up to $250,000

So it appears she is seeking the maximum penalty.

Why?

Do you have a point or are you just spouting off random phrases from the Constitution?
