Slowtwitch seems to be running really slow for me. It’s just this computer (Dell/Mozilla) and just this site. Once the page loads, it runs fine. It’s just the load times that take forever, almost like it’s getting hung up on some of the calls before I actually get website data.
Any suggestions?
edit: The last few pages have take 20+ seconds with the status box show a status involving facebook.com
I’m getting the error on both main site and the forums. When I went to the Training link, I get this warning.
Websites prove their identity via certificates. Firefox does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for log.slowtwitch.com. The certificate is only valid for training.slowtwitch.com.
ST has been dragging for me for several weeks now. Dan and I had a quick exchange in a LR thread about it recently, and he said he was going to get Jordan involved.
In my case, it is limited to Firefox on Win 10. I’ve resorted to firing up Internet Explorer just to visit ST, as it’s unbearable in FF. All other sites work just fine.
I’ve cleared the cookies and cache, but it hasn’t affected much. FWIW, some elements don’t appear to load at all such as the icons for the various forums. And, the advanced editor is dead, too. I’ve tried running it in different FF containers and private browsing mode to no avail.

Hey guys, while testing the Training Log on Firefox under Win 10 I noticed this problem as well. After some digging, it’s 30 or so seconds taken by DNS resolution (this is the internet system that takes “training.slowtwitch.com” and turns it into the actual server’s IP address). I’m not sure why only on FF, but this could be the same thing you’re describing.

Good information. Thanks.
I Disabled “DNS over HTTPS” and ST is much improved. Advanced editor seems to work. Forum icons still are not loading.
