Off topic (mea culpa) but I suggest that the T100 Final Standings bonus encourages season long competition and an element of climax at the ‘Grand Final’.
OTOH the EoY PTO Rankings bonus must be vulnerable for cutting next year as it’s broadly rewarding the same athletes in the top 10 where amounts are significant.
I note that the IM Pro Series standings payout which this year has had #11 - #50 all the same ($5000) (so no incentive if you aren’t making the top 10) has been graded for 2025: table below is a guess (total the same = $200k)
