Going to step in and defend Ruth here. She’s paved her own way from everything I’ve seen. Her and Ali are not very public and I don’t think there’s any connections one could make that have come via him…I could be wrong, but feel I have a pretty good pulse on things and I don’t put Ruth in the camp of benefiting from a significant other.

Agree, if anything she is the exact opposite.
Off topic (mea culpa) but I suggest that the T100 Final Standings bonus encourages season long competition and an element of climax at the ‘Grand Final’.
OTOH the EoY PTO Rankings bonus must be vulnerable for cutting next year as it’s broadly rewarding the same athletes in the top 10 where amounts are significant.
I note that the IM Pro Series standings payout which this year has had #11 - #50 all the same ($5000) (so no incentive if you aren’t making the top 10) has been graded for 2025: table below is a guess (total the same = $200k)

You aware they are even paying PTO Year End Ranking Bonuses this year? I haven’t been privy to confirmation of this nor have several athletes I coach this would be relevant to…
Good question. The T100 contract invitation/information included as part of the ‘how much you might earn’ offer the expected PTO Rankings EoY bonus payments. PTO have been silent about this, and one would expect more SM activity as NYE is nigh.
I also note they Still haven’t updated the rankings to reflect Taupo (still on @9 December).

I’m interpreting this as the “PTO Rankings Bonus” in Thorsten’s prize listing. Have they stopped paying out the general ranking (as distinct from T100 series payouts), or am I misinterpreting the payouts?

It is still unclear if they are paying out general ranking bonuses was my point, maybe Thorsten knows something I don’t.
