Assuming this pic appears (my first attempt at posting one), I’d appreciate some input on my position here. I just installed those new bars. Don’t have brakes yet. Haven’t tried this on the road. Seems comfy, but on the trainer, I seem to want to start scooting out on the bars.
I know I look “layed out.” I have a long torso relative to my legs. This is probably part of it.
Yes … I am in my underwear. I was wearing baggy shorts and a loose T-shirt. Couldn’t tell anything from those pics. Too lazy to go change into cycling gear before snapping the pic.
Slippers? Did you post a position pic wearing slippers?
This one is going to be at the top of the forum for a looooooooong time, plenty of stuff in the background for bored ST’ers to pick out.
As a matter of fact, I think I see your bike shoes laying next to the saw on the floor behing your front wheel. This thread should keep me entertained for the rest of the workday.
Uh … those are my slippers with the speedplay adapters … yeah … that’s it.
I’m glad I can provide some entertainment for the group. In return, if somebody could shed some light … any light … on the positioning questions. Granted, those are slippers and I am almost naked … but it could be worse. I could be wearing a man bra or some ridiculous thing like that.
Oh, and whoever turned that link into a pic … how?
He seems to think it is funny to put down man bras but its okay to post a pic of yourself in boxers in your toolshed? I’m mean, for god’s sake, he rides a trek and has a friggin trek sign in his workshop…words cannot express my disdain for this type of behavior. Please help me flame this guy hard–and here comes the defense of trek…

Obviously I really wasn’t thinking when I posted this pic. But it’s been seriously entertaining for me, too … though I know I’m being laughed at, not with.
Regarding the Trek sign … in my defense, if you’ll look closely at the top left you’ll see a set of upside down handle bars (not the ones hanging on the shelf). Those are the bars of a brand new Cervelo Soloist Team! Hopefully that will give me some small measure of redemption.
