My 2 cents, Superman has heat vision, Batman looks very combustible.
It’s really not a fair fight on many levels
1 Both are on the “Good Side”
2 Superman is from another planet and therefore not really human…
3 Batman is human and therefore have our many flaws
Long story short kryptinite (sp) is a like a kick to the balls, if your not winning the fight you pull out the dirty tricks

Really no question. Superman is an actual superhero with actual super powers. Batman, though pretty damn cool, is really just a rich guy wearing neoprene. Not unlike many triathletes…hmmm…

Superman wins 'cos he has super powers…the other guy, though way cooler outfits and the car is only human after all…Superman, with his X-ray vision would see batman coming from behind a corner and clotheline tackel him before he knew what hit him…Superman wins all.
I have to disagree, as a result of being bitten by a radioactive spider, Spiderman has been genetically modified, and now has “Spidey” senses and strengths. He is now “Super Human” Spidey and Super Man would make a great fight.
Spiderman v. Daredevil – good fight.
Batman v. Punisher – good fight.
Hulk v. Thing – good fight.
Captain America rocks.

The Dark Knight Returns
They both kick each other’s ass, although Batman is an old man by then.
As FOAW indicated it’s been done; first with “DarK Knight Returns” then about 10 years ago with DC vs. Marvel a big budget summer blockbuster crossover event. DC and Marvel pussied out by not featuring a Batman / Superman matchup, but went strength vs. strength and psychosis vs. psychosis. Thor vs. Captain Marvel: Thor Aquaman vs. the Sub-mariner: Aquaman Quicksilver vs. the Flash: The Flash Robin vs. Jubilee: Robin (this was great … they fought AND flirted) Silver Surfer vs. the Green Lantern: Silver Surfer Elektra vs. Catwoman: Elecktra Wolverine vs. Lobo: Wolverine Storm vs. Wonder Woman: Storm Spider-man vs. Superboy: Spiderman Superman vs. the Hulk: Superman Batman vs. Captain America: Captain America *In case you’re wondering … yes, I DO have them all plus many of the **Amalgam *comics relased the following year featuring DarkClaw, SuperSoldier, Spider-Boy and Lobo the Duck with the teams of Judgement League and the Fanatstic Legion as they battle Doctor Doomsday and Green Skull.
