You’ve tried to deflect to Leftist secularists when the Catholic Church was mentioned. You’ve tried to backtrack and claim your posts about the utility of thermobaric weapons weren’t serious. You’ve tried to justify the ludicrous notion of moving more than a million people in under 24hrs through one of the most densely populated areas in the world that was just bombed for 3 days and where there’s no water or electricity being allowed. You’ve recommended razing Gaza. You’ve predicted nuclear attack on Tehran multiple times, with no indication that you thought that was a bad idea. You tried to pretend that someone sad giving a warning about strikes was a war crime because you couldn’t defend the actual criticisms that were being levied. You’ve accused pretty much anyone who tried to mention Israel’s questionable actions over the decades long course of this dispute as being supporters of rapists and child killers. You’ve indicated wistfulness for the ability to send a battleship off shore to bombard the strip. You’ve pretended that anyone who mentioned Israel’s responsibilities under LOAC just wanted the IDF to do nothing and let Hamas win, and then when someone made suggestions as to what Israel’s obligations might be, you called that an open declaration of idiocy. You’ve invoked total war doctrine in a war that pretty clearly doesn’t involve an existential threat. You suggested the a Congresswoman thinks slaughtering babies is ok.
Your default is always high and to the right. I suspect this is because you’ve lived a pretty sheltered upper middle class life, so when things like war or crime or abuse cause you discomfort, you just want to make them go away as quickly as possible. This need to get rid of whatever it is that troubles you, and the black and white construct it forces onto the world has led to a whole host of posts that several posters have noted as particularly lacking in empathy.
If that’s not how you’d like to represent yourself, you might reconsider some of what you write.
It never ceases to both entertain and horrify me that Trump-friendly people here and elsewhere just brush off his horrifying comments as ‘joking’, ‘lighten up’, ‘he just says stuff’ even as he tries to enact them, then a normal citizen (not a president, or even a politician) makes ONE slightly over-the-top statement (which all of us do once in awhile, unlike DJT who does it non-stop with ill-intent) and they start losing their minds and making a big deal out of it.
Confused…are you comparing Oklahoma 100 years ago to now or just pointing out killing everyone in OK would kill all the Osage too? (Also a good book suggestion)
