New Vision Metron TFE Extensions

yes the bottom is pancake flat…
stack I’ll have to measure, I currently use speed shop 51 attached to pro design eco bracket.
if I get sometime I’ll take some pics of the vision bracket and the holes for cup.

Like I mentioned I’m stuck with profile design spacing because of my Parlee TTir basebar, but it looks like I have room to tap some new holes on the evo bracket as PD is M6 and Vision appears to be M5. I could enlarge the holes ever so slightly on the vision armrest , but I’d rather mess with aluminum then carbon.

My only issue with the PD evo bracket will have unused extension holders… which I will likely hacksaw off and fill with some aero shaped plug.

Want to see what it looks like with the bottle in play.

.

That gives me a better idea, I’d seen this one from a pervious post on your instagram. Do you have any others?

I do not. Can you give me an idea of what you are looking to see. I may be able to take some pictures.

I have an Argon E-119 Rim Brake (2018) not the disc brake model. Like with everything I probably want to see what it looks like on a bike that is similar. Anyways, the hydration adapter is a big sell, since I use that bottle already and was wondering exactly how I’d set up a BTA.

Unforutantly I will not have a similar bike I would be able to get pictures from.

Does anyone have practical experience to share on these?
Particularly interested to know what the pad length is and how the comfort compares to scoops and other options

I keep thinking you could accomplish the same thing by cutting a couple strips off of a 2L pop bottle and attach under your current extensions…or get a little fancy and order some mold-able plastic off amazon and shape it to your forearms…

The overall pad length is 160mm.

Can you provide stack measurements for both the TFE and TFE pro from the lowest point on the elbow cup to the top of the shifter mounting point. Just asking for myself and those looking to choose a model that will stay within the UCI 10cm height difference rule. The Pros at 15deg look to be to high.

Please check your email as I have responded to the emails you sent our customer service.

The TFE Pro is not UCI legal. The Pro would be 124mm to 134mm depending on the size of the extension. The TFE would be be below the 100mm UCI limit. It falls in the 75mm range.

But you can cut the ends and run say a r9160 shifter to get to the 10cm rule correct?

You can cut 20mm from the extension. We do not recommend trimming any additional as it would not leave you spaces to hold the extension.

Hey Kevin,

How does the cable routing work on a Shiv Tri disc with the adaptor base plate?

Does it route through the base of extensions into the base plate then into the central tower like the Shiv comes stock?

Thanks

The adapter does have a hole in the center between the mounting bolts that would allow for cable routing.

How long is the actual upturn where your hands would grip the extensions?

The grip area is 70mm tall.
