Oh man that’s cool looking!
Cool, an Airfoil with an all black paint job. ![]()
Actually, I think there is a very, very thin seattube hiding there. I think that’s why the angle was shot the way it was. The bike is supposed to be used by Rock Racing, which would mean it’d have to be UCI legal. It’s very hard to tell, but it looks like the very front of the black wheel is as glossy as the frame.
maybe it will have a removable ‘frame stiffener’
lol
.
Hopefully we can get some more shots! The seatpost area sure looks interesting. It’d be interesting to see its effects on aerodynamics.
I’ve been hearing things but that looks pretty sweet. Can’t wait to see more.
Now that looks like a real attempt at a tri bike… I loved all of my old Kestrels.

Good call because I don’t see the rear brake where it would be without the seattube, alla the Airfoil.
Dave in VA
looks like an integrated seatmast (no seat post) - wafer thin
Hidden rear brake
The rear triangle looks interesting - like a Plasma 2 mated with the Blue Triad
Front brake looks conventional
Tubes seem very thin
Hard to tell but this sure looks like a sexy bike
Come one Steve - do tell!!!
it looks realy nice.
Shame it has to be UCI legal. Means all the tubes will be fat, including the seatpost.
.
I want to go there.
I wonder why it has a Zipp front wheel and a SRAM rear wheel.

Maybe they’re between test runs to see what depth front wheel has the best drag #'s?
Interesting looking- I’m hoping this means I can pick up a new old stock Airfoil frame for cheap.
It looks promising at this point from the picture. If the cables are actually run on the bike then the front brake is not a standard version as it does not appear that there is an arm sticking up from the caliper. I think they went with the Specialized style of front brake. While using the Felt style rear brake and the Specialized flair on the rear drop out.
I hope that they did a layback style ISP seat post clamp for UCI that can be flipped around to get a 78 degree STA and is simple in design. These double cradle style posts are just SH!T in design. I do like the Cervelo style with the two holes however I think that Cervelo should have gone with a slot instead of the two holes.
almost looks like the rear stays flare out like the specialized.
And looks like there is no mounts for a bottle.
Ew.
