Just got back from my fitting session. Race wheels added for artistic affect (thus no cassette). Campy Chorus shifters & derailleurs, Zero Gravity titanium brake calipers, FSA K-Force crank set, USE Alien carbon seat post, blah blah blah.
Damnit, now I need to get a new shirt as the one I have on is covered in drool.
WOW!
Nice bike!!!
What saddle is that?
Nnnnniiiiiiice drroool
How come the spider isn’t all shiny ?
I could never ride that…i would just sit at home and wipe it with a diaper all day (what movie?)
Look is coming out with a Tri specific model next year…that will be B.E.A.utiful
.
Jas, that is one BEAUTIFUL ride! Can’t fault it AT all. Is that an SLR/K I spy atop the USE? Have you any miles on it? I am looking at one for my R2.5 and wonder what it is like for going long. Also, make sure you keep the Alien head bolts lubed and a 2.5mm allen key in your pack, they are great clamp until they seize.
Lovely ride, keep us posted with impressions as you log time on it.
Selle Italia SLR (135 grams). Thought it would be painful as it has virtually no padding, but it’s turned out the be the most comfortable saddle I’ve ever owned. Less is aparently more sometimes.
Yummy!
Sweet ride. So why did you go with the FSA crank over Chorus? Weight, cool factor, what?
Did you get a total weight on that sucker??
Holy cow, thats nice. That’s also one heck of a stretch (coming from all 5’3" of me and my long 9 cm stems). It looks like your stem is on Viagra!
Congrats.
Chris
Weight was one factor. Appearance was another (I’m insecure and irrational). I also wanted to try an external-bearing bottom bracket. I must say that the bottom bracket is quite impressive in its simplicity.
Weight is about 16-17 pounds.
I ask because I’m planning on Chorus for my new bike (must… wait… a few… months). Oddly enough I’m also hoping to get Zero Gravity’s. I was looking at the Dura Ace crank over the weekend, and I also liked the weight/simplicity. But there’s just something so right about the cranks matching the rest of the group.
BTW, nice chain.
Awesome bike!!!

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt…!
I agree 100% with the saddle remark.
Sweet bike. Let us know how the Zero Gravity brakes work out.
Forget the shirt, I need a new pair of panties. Goddam that’s one fine lookin piece of machinery. Wish I could get one of those between my legs.
Clarify please, Rev. You like the look of the SLR or you find it comfortable?
Very, very, very nice. Now I have a bad case of bike envy.
you know she’s perfect when nobody comments on the color of your walls or baseboards, eh? What a beaute. That long stem looks perfect on the Euro ride. You better color coordinate your wardrobe with this baby! Have fun, looking forward to the fit pics should you post them.
Oh yes! Your bike is now firmly planted on my computer screen at work! Yummy goodness.
