Well…I’d rotate those bars down a degree or two…
What the hell am I saying- I am so freakin’ jealous of you folks with carbon framesets. All I can say is I hope you had to sweat blood to get that little sweetheart.
Congrats.

“How come the spider isn’t all shiny ?”
You’d have to ask FSA that question. It looks pretty nice in my opinion.
Yummy. She’s hot.
I’m no expert, but I play one on TV.
That doesn’t look like a TRI bike!
no aero bars
slack seat angle
no padded nose saddle
etc.
(sorry but I thought someone had to point it out)
Super cool bike. Well done on the spec and frame. Living dangerously with white bar tape, eh? (Real tape comes in but white, which morphs into the appropriate shade of grey.) Looks too fast for SLC, bring that bastard to Vegas for a little sinful fun.
Bar tape is cheap.
Wife’s heading to Vegas the last weekend of this month. I’m still on the fence about going down (depends on the weather here). I fear seeing what’s happened in Vegas since I was last there in my rock climbing days a few years ago. I hear there are homes all the way out to Red Rocks…
white is the only way to go.
the yuppy scum have pretty much set up their erector set ‘communities’ at the entrance to Red Rock. I bet you could hit the last Starbucks in Summerlin and be climbing Panty line 15 minutes later. Sad.
Pretty soon, Station Casinos is set to open their red Rock casino. I’m teaching right now at a school built at the base of Sunrise mtn. There is almost no land left in the valley.
SoCAl and Vegas – always jealous step siblings – are merging like a nasty fungus creeping from toe to toe.
Cheers and enjoy the new bike. How’s the weather in UT … 70s and sunny here.
It’s been sunny and mid-50s, which is nice for this time of year - usually it’s still snowing.
My six year old son just walked up behind me while I had the photo open on the computer and said, “Heyyyy…nice bike!” I concur.
I guess if you like exotic, expensive, light carbon bikes its ok! I just like the ideal it is something that hardly anyone else has! Excellent choice!
“you know she’s perfect when nobody comments on the color of your walls or baseboards”
There was a photo of a bike on a trainer on Gordo’s site and my wife’s first comment was “that guy’s obviously a bachelor” because there were no pictures on the wall, decorations, etc. Only a bike, a bed and a solitary dressor.
Guess the bike wasn’t as impressive as this one.

It wasn’t meant as a critizism, they do look nice.
I just thought that there might be some kind of protective fillm on them or dust.
I know it wasn’t a criticism, I just didn’t have a good answer for you:)
.
That’s an ugly bike. It’ll probably crack…carbon is unproven…your wheels are slow 'cause they don’t have dimples…too much gap between the seat tube and rear wheel…0G brakes don’t stop well enough…that saddle looks uncomfortable…the stem does not match the rest of the bike…those cranks are crap compared to the Record Carbons…you’d better send that bike to me…
;^>
I just moved to Boston while my wife is still looking for a job up here from DC. In my room, lit by a bare light bulb, right now:
a) inflatable bed
b) folding table
c) pile of laundry
d) bin of bike clothes
e) Kurt Kinetic w/ a road bike in it.
Sounds like i’m not the only one!
Man, I love that Look. I’m usually not that much into aesthetics (I have a Giant and a Trek…) but that is a special bike. Perfect. How’s that LeMond treating you? Got any pics to show?
Just curious, what is the weight difference between the one of the external bearing BB/Crank combos compared to “traditional” Like the difference between DA10 and DA9. I know the external BB lead to an increase in stiffness, however, I don’t think this is an issue most people need to worry about - so that leaves looks and weight . . .

Still just a frame and fork. Will definately post pics once i transfer all the parts from the TCR.
good to hear. I’ll be buying a road bike worth around $2000 - 2500 this spring. Curious to see what’s out there.
Now, back to drooling over that Look! DAMN that’s nice!
The FSA K-Force is 660 grams including the bottom bracket. The FSA Carbon Pro (555 grams) with an ISIS bottom bracket (200ish grams) weighs about 750 grams. Not much of a difference at all.
Actually Jeff, I just picked up the drive side crankarm that had the chainrings and integrated BB spindle on it, and I was suprised how light it was. I’m not sure the overall system (complete crankset with bb) is all that much lighter though. I could look it up but I’m feeling lazy…
