The mentally unstable have spent the last decade calling Trump Hitler and saying he was going to end Democracy and every other vile thing they can think to say. Spreading hatred and division toward one person and the group that supports him

People begin to act upon this rhetoric.

The mentally unstable conclude Trumps lack of support for Ukraine is the cause. Along with the gun and the bad debate.

I’ll use this post as a jumping off point. NBC posted a new Chuck Todd column that deals with the latest assassination attempt. He makes several good points, but I’ll quote this part.

Sadly, so much of our political discourse features people rationalizing their bad behavior by claiming the other side is worse. My friends on the left love to scream about both sides-isms and love to complain when some of us hold them to a higher standard than Trump. But the party that promises a higher standard is asking to be judged by a higher standard. This doesn’t mean anyone is condoning the bad behavior of the other side, but it means that if you ask the voters to expect better, you should always behave better, period. It’s not always easy, but a good leader behaves well even when it’s hard.

If you were the SS and looking at the gunman pointing a rifle, it would be impossible to tell if the rifle was pointing at someone, or birds, or a tree. Since he was on a private golf course with the President there, the gunman was fair game.

No. But if you sneak into the bushes of a private golf course owned by the President, with the President on the course, and then you raise the gun, that’s a little more than just open carry.

From the line of sight of the SS, how can they tell where he was aiming?

If he did get a shot out, and the SS did nothing after seeing someone in the bushes aiming a gun, how would you react?

If you don’t want to get shot, it might be a good idea not to hide in bushes and raise a gun.
