well…technicaly… there must have a mc donald near in town…so the closer one to transition will be the one! I m getting in town tomorow afternoon, then, will find Lance and will invite him for a happy meal! no way he will say no to that!!!

I went for a swim with him this afternoon. He told me that he will be at the sign-up on Monday morning for CdA 2008. Nice guy, and not bad in a speedo either!

I heard the same rumor at dinner from someone that has zero connection to the race. They asked me if Lance was doing the race. They said the local 5 o’clock news reported that LA, Clooney and McCaunaghey are in town. I won’t believe it till I see it …
He is with THE SERGIO and PAULO at the Timex truck hawking old finisher merchandise! LOL.
Is there some new team called Team The Sergio? I saw a huge peliton tonight all wearing TEAM SERGIO jerseys blasting along at 28mph (think Steve Larson) coming back into town?

actually the rumor is correct, Lance has been seen the past week or so out riding in the area. He has bought or is about to buy property just outside of CDA. George Clooney already has a place here as well. Lance was going out of town tomorrow (Saturday) for a fund raiser ride in Canada and is supposedly going to back on Sunday to watch the race.
That’s a lie, Jonnyo. I know he’s in town as he is Khai’s new coach and is scoping out the course for Khai’s attempt next year>
