Great for them, I’m sure it’s very well paid. Now they need some athletes to coach!
Carney has had her problems with both AUS-Tri and losing athletes. Didn’t they sue each other? It will be interesting to see how harsh AUS culture gets on in that country. Good luck to both of them but it is going to be a culture shock of enormous proportions.

I’m driving tomorrow down from Canberra. The whole Italian team, Max Stapley, Taylor Spivey, etc were here at the AIS in Canberra the last 10 days.
I’m looking forward to all the action the next 4 days!

I’m an age grouper from the USA racing AquaBike and Draft Legal Sprint. Have been in Wollongong since Saturday. My husband and I plan on spectating after my races Thursday and Friday. Several teams staying in the hotel that we’re staying. FYI…Be prepared for road and car park closures around the venue starting 5:15AM on Thursday and the rest of the week. Entire area will be locked down. Local Access - 2025 World Triathlon Championship Wollongong
Good luck with your races. I’m staying a bit further in Shellharbour, and will drive in every day. Will try to park somewhere south of the venue and run a couple of kilometers to the venue each day.
I am not travelling to worlds this year. Too far and too expensive for me I am afraid.

Yeah just came back to correct my post, WTCS race instead of Elite T100 race, not alongside.
I would nearly have made the same mistake. It just seemed so improbable. PTO doing an age group only race wasn’t on my bingo card!
