Also Rudy has the same splits at KB on the other sports, “just” 8 min slower on run, Seems like a few years ago, that a 2:42 get’s a race win, now you’re blown off the win by 8 min!

Yes, great debut and that 5th KQ slot. Heading for a 2:52ish marathon.

Perterer has dropped off the tracker ‘suddenly’ (after 17 miles)
Opens the third spot on the podium for Alberts (who is well clear of #4 (Chura))/
Chura will get caught by Jewett!

Did Taylor stop again for the toilet? Wasn’t watching

All these dudes getting passed by Kat then picking it up again are whack. Cheer her on and get out of the way.

I hate it when they do that.

She’s on screen right now. Looks like she lost her timing chip

Lisa reappeared again in third…

Nothing more motivating than getting chick’d.

8:10:34 - beats all previous IRONMAN completion times by 8 minutes (was Philipp’s Hamburg 8:18).
Was only beaten on time by 21 men.
But regret volret.

Well, well, well

If Knibb doesn’t race another Ironman before Kona, that experience is going to be a challenge for her to address when she toes the line in October.

Yes, it didn’t look to be the most fun day at the office for Taylor today.
