Funny that they gave colored caps to the swimmers but announced the wrong two guys leading the entire time. Not until the on the bike split did they get the order right. This is going to come together way sooner than I or anyone else thought, what power has Lionel, Sam, and Trevor been putting out to close the gap on Magnus so quickly?? I guess do it now while it is only high 60’s, because snow canyon is going to be an oven…

Paula dispatched Chelsea (already a min behind!!) and almost caught Lotte Wilms. I don’t see how she can lose today apart from a meltdown on the run.

It’s not an ironman broadcast if they don’t call out the wrong swimmers. I actually find it very entertaining how much they struggle to identify them.

I don’t think he intended to make the pass. I think he got in the draft zone and had no option but to pass.

I don’t know, if these timing gaps are right seems intentional. Or maybe he got pushed into by the red light and just said F it and decided to rip their legs off before SC.
