Have it on good authority that IM Coz will be 11/18/18, the Sunday before Thanksgiving, rather than the Sunday after thanksgiving as usual (so same day as IMAZ). Bummer, the timing in the past made logistics/ travel easier. Was planning on 2018 but won’t work now. Looking at Canada instead.
That would be a shame. I got an email from IM Mexico a couple weeks back about a discount for IM Coz and I am fairly sure the date was noted, 11/25/18 but I could be wrong. I glanced the note over and deleted it since they said they’ll send an updated email with the discount link.

That is too bad because even earlier in the “tourist season” means fewer direct flights to Coz

Bummer, that changes my Thanksgiving plans for 2018.
I’ve done IMCOZ twice and it was precisely because it was Thanksgiving Day weekend and getting off work was not an issue. Perhaps they thought that fewer people were coming because they wanted to do Thanksgiving at home, but this switch in dates may backfire on them.
