Harris Watch

Figured we should have one catch-all for each candidate.

Vice President Harris appeared on Fox News for an interview with Bret Baier. Several interesting clips in circulation currently.

Pushing back on Baier’s questionable question framing:

Does not appreciate being interrupted when answering the question she was asked:

“My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency”

Thanks for the clips. I’ve been looking to find where I can watch the entire interview, but I can’t find it. If anyone has a link to the entire interview I’d appreciate your sharing the link.

I made the mistake of turning on Fox on the way home to see if the interview was on. I got Laura Ingraham telling her audience that Harris was “in charge of the border” from the day Biden took office. What a joke, except most of her audience likely believes it.

By 3am Trump will be calling it election interference and calling for Fox’s license to be revoked.

Addressing the ad about supporting transgender surgeries for inmates:

Catching clips now. I thought she seemed solid.

Asked about how 50% of the country could support him, would she call them “dumb”.

She quickly responded. Said she would never say that about an American. Immediately pivoted to him being the one that demeans people. Attacks those who don’t agree with him. Calls Americans the enemy within. Strong answer.

Eventually I did find the full interview on YouTube - so it’s there, about 32 minutes.
There aren’t really any Biden\Harris favorable answers to how the border was handled during the first 3 years of their admin . . . .
I’m not sure if Baier is misogynistic, or why else he would ask Harris a question and then immediately begin interrupting her . . . .
For someone like me who does not watch Fox News, it was pretty obvious Baier was all in on protecting Trump.
Overall I thought she came off as strong and forceful even if her answers were a bit off target.

Yup. This law has been challenged several times in court. Harris challenged it when she was AG of California, and lost, and the Biden administration challenged it, and lost.

The first taxpayer funded gender reassignment surgery for a prisoner happened in 2017…when Trump was President.

“When did you first notice that President Bidens mentally faculties appeared diminished?”

Whoa. Wait. This dude actually played the opponent’s political ad. Free air time for all viewers that tuned in, attacking the presidential candidate he is interviewing? That is his question. Playing an ad.

“When did you first decide to stop beating your wife?”

Amateur hour questioning.

Pretty much my take as well.

You and Jimatbeyond, who likes the smell of what you’re cooking, better be prepared to own your nonsense when, with the benefit of hindsight, Trump is viewed as the charlatan snake oil salesman he is.

Baier: “I think she had a mission. Maybe she wanted to have a viral moment or pushback. She came to Fox News right. She wanted to have a go after Donald Trump viral moment that plays on a lot of other channels and on social media. She may have gotten that”

She called him out on his gaslighting in real time. She most certainly got that.

Say what? Is Baier actually complaining that his trap interview didn’t work out the way he wanted it to? And so his spin is that Harris is manipulative?

Fuck me, these people have absolutely no shame. They will say literally anything that suits them.

Got a link handy?

is he really that stupid? Of course she went on to get her message out, why else would she agree to an interview???

Yes.

He may have said more that adds context, but he definitely said this after the interview.

Here’s the longer clip of Fox News gaslighting.

Not stupid. Dishonest.

You answered your own question. He wasn’t being misogynistic, he was trying to protect Trump. If it was Gavin Newsome as the candidate he would have treated him the same way. Combative, interrupting, debating rather than interviewing.
