I am sure the thinking was, our audience perceives other networks being unusually hard on Trump in interviews so we need to be equally hard on Harris, and that was the result.
I’m sure my wife will hear from my FIL what a pushy bitch she was.
My MIL does not say anything to my wife about politics. I’ve been married for 36 years and this is the first time my wife has ever really taken an interest in politics. A conversation about voting for Trump would not go over well.
My MIL told my wife he’s watching and listening to Fox radio pretty much constantly throughout the day and is insufferable to be around right now. And she’s a Trump voter.
She doesn’t talk politics with my wife either, who voted for the first time herself yesterday.
You still voting for the guy who danced for 40 mins on stage instead of taking questions at a town hall, and left hundreds of supporters stranded at Coachella because he wouldn’t pay the bus company? Or the guy whose tax proposals will see all those making less than $360k a year, pay more in taxes?
“When Brett went hard after her. She didn’t call him names. She didn’t quit the interview. She didn’t make things up. She never once complained the questions were tough. She never played the victim card. She didn’t lose her temper. She didn’t take the bait to diminish or talk down to Trump supporters,”
He danced because he was bored of answering questions. He was also visibly annoyed by the two people who needed medical attention. “Would anyone else like to faint?”
But it really is a bad question. It is just such a well worn trope of bad journalism that it is a joke. A journalist asking a question like that is like someone in an interview saying their biggest weakness is that they work too hard.
The question could have been asked “do you agree with Biden’s decision to step out of the race?” or “are you concerned with Joe’s mental capacity?”
he is absolutely doing the same job he has been doing for the last 3.75 years.
Harris has absolutely agreed with and supported every single decision and action that Biden has taken in the last 3.75 years. She can’t think of a single thing that she would do differently.
Biden is not running for another term.
The Dem party absolutely agrees with and supports every decision and action that Biden/Harris have taken in the last 3.75 years.
Harris’s role if she is elected is to absolutely carry on implementing additional decisions and actions along the same pathway that Biden has begun and the Dem party agrees with and supports.
Harris is absolutely running for Biden’s second term and will totally govern as such.
We agree
thanks
frankly I’m just confused why she and others are having a difficult time communicating this as well as you have to the electorate.
Tyler won’t address the elephant(s) in the room. Trump is about as unserious a candidate as we’ve ever had in our history, including when Trump himself ran in 201, and yet he tries to paint Harris as unserious. Trump now spews lies and nonsense almost every time he opens his mouth, but Tyler pretends like everything’s fine.
