So Elves (Chinese Frame OEM) has a new TT Frame out for 2025
Only 1750e! Are we finally seeing something we can actually afford?
Wondered if anyone has seen one, used one or contemplating one?

TJ Tollakson, your thoughts?
Chinese framesets being cheap is not a new thing, though.
Is Elves actually an OEM?
Josh from Culprit knows a bit more about this manufacturer, and it’s not open mould. The frame is very chunky from the few vids I’ve seen. Nowhere near as aero looking as a Dimond. The new Argon might be a better entry level option.
As Steven said, I know who the supplier osm they told me it’s a closed mold to elves. No idea any data on it
I know it’s not an open mold model. The question was whether they are an OEM, or even have their own factory at all.
I believe it is update on the Falco Big V-Bike FALCO Big V-bikes disc triathlon carbon frameset with SRAM dropout – Falcobikes
If you watch a few SM videos when it was first shown a few months ago (I think it was at the Japan bike show), some of the cover plates even have Big V bikes written on them. Shown in this video TikTok - Make Your Day When they remove the downtube water bottle you can see the cover plate for internal storage say Big V bike
From the little research I did a while back, the Falco bike is not that stiff and the rear can be like a wet noodle. I think Elves have stiffened this area up by adding the dropped chain stay, similar to Cadex and Colnago and tidied up a lot of the odd shaped angles.
So I assume it is a collaboration with Falco As to how it rides, weight etc, have not seen any reviews
The manufacturer bought falco years ago so yes, the factory in house brand is Falco
Do go on. What do you mean by “chunky”?
Thanks.
I mean the down tube seems to flare out so it looks rather wide. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5CNhJFROk4
Neither a traditional or kammtail foil shape but perhaps it tests well in the tunnel, or maybe the beam provides a bit more comfort. I’m intrigued but not convinced as of yet.
Thanks!
Good video; nice to see it from all angles.
I wish Elves released aero testing data for any of their bikes. Maybe they don’t have any
Generally, from what I can see, their designs look good but maybe they are just copying the big names and not actually testing. Devil is in the detail so they could be missing key shaping designs.
Triathlon Dan on YouTube has one he’s planning to build, might be worth a subscribe to see how he gets on. Custom paint for only £35 more seemed crazy
It was free a few weeks back - got my order in for the frame with a custom paint style for no cost - frame should be here before end of the year.
Not like I’m shopping for one, but I’d probably appreciate it more if “Elves” was pronounced “Elvis” like Presley vs Santa’s helpers
That’s just me, though, I’m sure LOL
Interestingly, it’s actually one of the longest bikes available, at least for their largest size. 452mm reach on their size “54”. If they had a size up with even longer reach I would buy it so fast…
I’m interested in this frame.
It seems to be pretty hefty though:
Why get this frame rather than a more traditional frame from an ordinary manufacturer with a retailer in your country, so that you’re covered by warranty and consumer rights?
I’ve seen very little evidence that these outlandish frame shapes give much of a performance benefit. Not to mention the weight penalty. There’s a reason very few pros ride them.
Price, and good enough geometry in my case.
