Denver Storm

I can’t wait to drive home in my Jetta.

part of the sales tax goes toward aquiring and maintaining open space. I think over 60% of the land in Boulder County is now publicly owned open space and they still buy up every desireable parcel that comes available.

now thats my kind of snow storm…sorry to the person who was trying to fly to Denver for a ski vacation…that part sucks.

Graham,
You’ve got mail.

well thats very nice to hear after being away from Boulder for sooo many years…moved away from there waaay back 1989 and went to S. CA, and now in Chicago past 5 years. Not my favorite place to live…thanks for the green belt/space update.

Webcams so you can see what it looks like.

Andrew, thanks for pointing this out. I try and tell this to clients when they complain about the 8+% sales tax compared to mail order, or just in general.

hmm interesting advice…would think thats the first thing ya might try if a flood was approaching? but what do I know anyway!!

you open today, tim? I was going to drive in but all my clients cancelled and rescheduled…guess it’s kinda foolish to get the hair done and then walk out into gale force winds and blowing snow. Looks like it’s almost time to get the driveway again.

On the way home from work it took me a minute to find the exit of our parking lot. I’m almost positive that I was on the road most of the way home though.

We’re open 10-6 as normal but I am not in the studio.

I live in Denver and am studying for corporate finance exam tomorrow night, so Ryan is holding down the fort today. He lives very close luckily.

Thankfully I don’t have to be anywhere! It’s NASTY in NW Denver right now!

Traffic on 25 south, at the 470 exchange, towards Castle Rock is completely blocked. Cars aren’t moving at all.

Just got out of the outdoor pool after my lunch hour swim on the Submarine Base on Pt Loma, here in San Diego. Sunny…yet cool low to mid 60’s today. Will be running tonight along the beach after work.

Enjoy the indoors.

Mark

What a difference a day makes!

you guys are bastards. two days ago we were supposed to get that snow, but you guys stole it.

on monday we had a winter storm watch with a foot of powder predicted.
by tuesday the watch was gone and we had a 50% chance with more later in the week.
today, we don’t have shit

Ha! Snow day! It just keeps on coming…

My husband’s spent 4 hours trying to find a way south. He’s almost home. I’ve shovelled 3 times – makes me seriously regret not buying a snow blower. That song – She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy – kept going through my mind as I was imagining what quick work a tractor could make of my driveway.

How about a Colorado ST meet, maybe a month from now…when this snow finally melts?

I’m thinking somewhere in North Denver so we can get everybody from Boulder, Ft Colins, Loveland, South Denver, Castlerock and no one would have to drive more than an hour. The Springs too, hmm maybe Central Denver ?? Sorry Shawn.

YaHey, you’re invited, we’ll thumb wrestle to decide our political differences, aight?

F’ing damn ass bastards. I can’t move to CO until my house is done… well after winter.

So, I guess those of us down in The Springs aren’t invited to your little get together, huh? ; )
