Database of swim workouts?

I’m doing more solo swims these days and would like to have access to a list of workouts, preferably ones I can bang out in 30-45 minutes.

Does something like this exist online?

I find a lot of inspiration in the monthly swim thread, this page from Magnolia Masters Workouts – Open Water Swim Club , and Gordo Byrn’s swim set google doc Copy of Copy of Gordo's Swims - Google Docs

I’m guessing it wouldn’t make much sense for you to get a USMS membership, but if you have one, they have an extensive workout database.

Thanks for sharing. That is a great thread to revive, lots of ideas in there. Most of those sets are going to help check a lot of Filliol’s 20 rules as well, just to reference that current thread Joel Filliol, shag, marry or kill

Yes indeed, that was a great thread, and I guess I missed it first time around. Going through it I found this workout the most interesting, and will do it as a challenge set soon. You start a 200 on the 4 minutes, and reduce rest by 15 seconds each time around, until you miss the interval. Then on the one you miss, you do a 150 and continue to reduce rest by 15 seconds. Once missed again, go to 100’s until you are done..

I’m going to name this one Frog in the pot. It’s a slow heat up until the water boils, then boils again, and then again!!! Sounds super fun, I will do it as a pull set and see how far I can get..
