Best non stick frying pan?

Having issues with cheap pans. What’s the best non stick pan?

We’ve just bought some of the Jamie Oliver t-fal pans and they are really pretty good. Also have a look at the hexclad pans that Gordon Ramsey pushes.

I assume you know that non-stick frying pans are linked to Alzheimer’s.

For general use non-stick we recently bought Hexclad, so far we’ve been happy with them. Had All-clad previously and they wore out WAY too quickly for the price. For cooking eggs, nothing beats Green Pan.

Watch the videos on YouTube from America’s Test Kitchen. Never been let down by their recommendations for any kitchen component.

Bought a set of Calphalon ceramic coated fry pans several months ago and so far they have been great. Nothing sticks to them. They heat evenly and cook very well.

Non stick pans are made with all kinds of toxic compounds, yes. But l did not know that any of these compounds were linked to Alzheimers. What is your source for this info?

I know that the Teflon coatings have links to cancer. Some pans are ptfo (or whatever the acronym is) free.
But we’ve all eaten from Teflon coated pans many times, weather at a restaurant or friends house. I’m thinking it’s too little, too late. I assume everyone would have traces of these chemicals in them

there was a thread on this a little while ago - i have recently purchased a couple of the “nicer” greenpan options and have been pleased with them so far.

i think it was these

they are “PFOA-free, PFAS-free, lead-free and cadmium-free.”

Cast iron, properly seasoned is just as non-stick as any thing else. They don’t add any trace elements and they never wear out.

I got my three in the 1980’s. My wife doesn’t like to cook with them because they are too heavy but she likes when I cook with them because they cook so well.

I too am a cast iron fan.
BONUS! And, they actually do add trace amounts of iron to the food, especially when cooking something acidic like Mariana sauce.
No weird alzheimers inducing chemicals either. Can’t beat that with a stick.
