Best convenience store food

After reading about Bucc-ees, i thought I’d start a new thread.
Just got back from New Mexico and Colorado.
Allsups chimichangas (fried burritos) are quite tasty.

The other thread covered Bucc-ees but did not mention the candied pecans. Those are a tasty snack.

What else? Quick Trip?

I’ll drive a few miles off the interstate to fill up at Costco, and get a $1.50 hotdog and soda.

  1. Buc-ee’s
  2. Wawa

The rest don’t matter.

Japan ruined me on convenience store food. Nothing here compares.

Legendary

Yeah, the egg salad sandwiches in Japan 7-11 are so good. I look forward to Family Mart, 7-11 on Japan on layovers.

Interesting how his message still resonates 40 years later.

I just drove from Nashville to Kansas City and back so everything was Loves or Flying J or maybe a Starbucks if I saw one. I tried to bring enough snacks with me so I didn’t have to buy that much.

I really wanted a Diet Pepsi at one stop but they seem to have super sized even individual bottles of Diet Pepsi over the last year and I didn’t want a +20 bottle, trying to drink that in the truck.

Queue @RandMart and a Suicidal Tendencies reference

I forgot about Casey’s. Just saw in the news that they will be opening near me. When I did RAGBRAI a couple of years ago, I learned just how much Iowans love Casey’s.

Kansans too. Casey’s has good pizza.

Don’t remember who, but somebody here has that lyric I’m their signature.

It wasn’t me, in case you’re asking

The Mobil station at the base of Tioga Pass in Lee Vining, CA, is home to some pretty epic food (famous for fish tacos), thanks to a 5-star big city chef who said “fuck it” and moved to the Eastern Sierra. Quite confident @Slowman knows the place.

been there many times! pretty much every year.
