Belichik to NC

His experience managing paid players should be a benefit.

Although it will be interesting to see how he acquires players for his team.

He’s good friends with Saban so he should have access to some good insights

I guess he wants to coach again, rather than be retired.

With several NFL coaches on a hot seat, why wouldn’t he have waited or campaigned to get picked up by an NFL team? e.g. NY Giants? Daboll must have breathed a sigh of relief, temporarily.

Being a college coach after being a NFL coach would suck.

Wouldn’t you want your job to be actually coaching and not coach/sucking up to car dealers?

Agreed, seems like a strange choice. UNC, really? I googled it and they haven’t won the ACC since 1980. Good luck with that, Bill.

To paraphrase Jim Mora “Players?!!! Are you talkin about players?!!!”

Nick Saban did alright.

I simply can’t imagine that Belichik will be successful at this level and with this age group. Predict he does not last the length of the initial contract.

He has the hubris to think he has the Midas touch. But he also knows he will not repeat his dynasty in the NFL. College makes sense for him to think he can add to his legacy.

He had a dynasty because of TB12:

I dont think I’ve ever seen a pic of Belichik smiling

Is that a smile? It’s a start, yeah

I think he made a joke once, and half-smirked at his own cleverness

I mean…

He does seem to have a good grip though.

Bill is living his best life. Can’t hate on the guy.

Dating your grand daughter is not a best life, in any culture… /p

Snoop roasted them good last night at the NFL Homors.

She likes him for his smiling face.

That picture creeps me out more than a little.

No, but you can make a good case for dating your grand daughter’s super hot friend.

Belichick reminds me of a person in my family. She also forgets how to stand like a human, and smile like a human as soon as a camera is on her.
