I’d bet he appeals to the next level-- to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals today. Why not? Hell, even if he chose to go to abitration nothing is going to be “resolved” any time this year.

Sparks ruling was smart and made mention of keeping the US Courts out of the mess of international alphabet soup. If he appeals, it will be a waste of time and his money and he knows that. I wouldnt be shocked if he does because he doesnt know how to stop fighting, but I think it would be an incredibly poor decision. Not that he’s ever shown the ability to make another type IMO

Does he know it is a waste of time and money? I’m not sure how much another appeal would cost, but I’m sure it is a drop in the bucket compared to what he has spent and will spend in legal costs.

For Lance, probaly nothing. He’s trying to do anything and everything he can. However, it does look like the more cases he keeps “losing” the more the noose around his neck gets tightened. But for someone with the means that he has, he absolutely should try and do everything he can to protect himself.

If he fights and loses (which all appearances are he will) and the folks he won the bonus from are able to come after him for it, he could wind up broke when it’s all said and done. He’ll start reshaping his legacy today is my guess. But it’s hard to say for sure.

The question is if Bruyneel and Pepe took public arbitration or not. I think there will still be leaks but public arbitration means all the evidence comes out
