2025 T100 Triathlon World Tour London

Geez.

Goodness LCB seems to be coming back, what a race.

Last year it looked like it would be a one person show, I think it’s good that Knibb can be beaten now and again.

Also a nice moment was Knibb handing a bottle to Waugh

Superb race

LCB impressive with this run.
Especially, drawing on @BDoughtie 's insight, she’s very much focused on her slow build to IMWC Kona.
Don’t think Waugh will let up, but any faltering or weakness and LCB will be ready for the opportunity.

Yes, I did have a problem. Whoever shows the lead swimmer in the mens field, and him only, for 6 (?) minutes while the women run is unfolding, should not work as a producer. Sure, it wasn’t the finish, but as a producer you show the most interesting thing available you can show. If you don’t understand that, you shouldn’t work at this level. This was Ironman level of production. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

It looks like Knibb has been in 'check the box" mode of showing up and getting a podium, but it’s very interesting that basically she’s not had it any today.

Knibb has to be the biggest LCB fan now, while Waugh was the biggest LCB fan 5km ago lol.

Frodo: “Quite possibly the greatest women’s field ever assembled and it’s just great racing.”

Is it? Visser is 16 minutes back. Gentle is a shell already somehow?

let’s goooooo gals!!!

What I learned from this race is that I’ve lost some respect for Taylor Knibb. Had no idea she had joined team Blood Money.

Wonderful race.

She posted a Strava 5km park run PR last Saturday of 16:12. For someone who doesn’t post much I got the feeling it was an indication of fighting talk

LOL, Taylor in her interview knows the finishing position of all the top 4 ladies year to date. She is meticulous

As I said, boring. Good top 3 race, but the rest of this was over pretty early.

Seen hardly any of the race but tuned in for the T100 poster girls 1,2 in their home race, they will be pleased!

Happy for LCB and commenting without seeing any of the race, Waugh is an absolute beast at this distance, three poduims in her first 3 races in this company is mental stuff!

It seems like you only drop by to shit on the T100. I thought the women’s race was amazing—such fun to watch LCB win in front of the home crowd! And how often do we see someone get passed on the run and then come back? Very exciting.

That was not boring at all.

I assume now that Derron/LCB/Knibb are going for Kona, Waugh’s got the pole position to win this year. As she said in the interview, I think she’s still “learning” how to play out tactics. I kinda wondered if Waugh “over biked” considering she rode with the front group, yet still ran really really well (put what 2.5 mins into Knibb). It took what the most incredible run from LCB to beat her. I wonder what will be Knibb’s real thoughts/reaction. She seemed to be flat seemingly all day (but again maybe she was in checking the box mode, least effort for best finish)

In the final lap when LCB was catching Waugh, was it LCB getting faster, Waugh slower, or both? I’m sure Waugh took her foot off the gas once LCB distanced her, but I couldn’t tell what was happening when LCB was catching her. I’d like to look at their lap splits.
