“natural” technical aspects absolutely. Speedhumps or artifical built chicanes, nah not good for technical aspects of a bike course.

Front group is putting a lot of time in a lot of the field. Derron 3:3x back now? She has the “worst” score compared to the others so far, so another bad score will be advantage Knibb/Waugh.
And Derron is getting dropped by Perterer and Berry…

Gaps looks massive at the front now, looked about 14-15 seconds. Waugh very randomly was trying to chug a gel whilst turning and with the others full power…

At this point, the podium may come from the front 4 with the gaps they created. Will be curious to hear from Knibb on what today’s effort was. This run will be fun to watch Waugh vs Knibb, the other 2 may end up being important displacement placements among the top 3 by the seasons end.
My bet now is:
Waugh
Knibb
Derron
LCB needs to gain as many seconds as she can on those three. Being brave! But I fear her run will not be up to it (and riding the last laps hard will not help that).
Someone could tell Frodeno that, regettably, Frejus is no longer a one lap course; not even for the amateurs.

Derron basically has to have the run she’s used to, but it seems like at this point she’s now racing for 3rd at best vs win?
No screen in screen for the women’s run. I hope we’re not missing Taylor dropping anyone.
