2 Years, 200 Pounds Gone, Ironman

Hey Guys,

I know many of you know me and my story, and many of you might not. Anyways, 2 years ago today I weighed 400 pounds and had Gastric Bypass. In the last 12 months I have completed 4 x 70.3's, Ironman Louisville, 3 Marathons, and a lot of other races. Check out my "Year In Review" at www.trimywill.blogspot.com and to learn about my weight loss journey go to www.trimywill.com . Thank you all for your tips, support and encouragement, I could not have gotten through all this without ya'll...

Dan

congrats on your hard work!!!

Congratulations, Dan!

wow… pretty impressive.

" I broke a colleagues brand new guest chair in his office because of my extreme weight."
hope you can laugh about it now… (I assume you can, since you put it on the website).
good luck on the ultra!

Congratulations ! One of my favorite moments in this sport is the weight-loss standup at the IM banquets. When you
see people lined up to race an IM who have lost 80, 100 or 200 pounds you are looking at someone who has radically
altered their life for the better. It is very moving.

.

Keep up the good work. Your an inspiration!

Dan,

Congratulations. What a great story. You set goals, put in the necessary hard work, and believed in yourself. Keep up the great work!

Rob

Great job my brutha! Great job.

The skinny people will never understand, but that is ok because if we have to, we can eat them!

I was going to ask if your Doc’s knew your plans…screw em - you know what you have to do and have covered your bases. Good luck.

Actually yeah, my surgeon Dr David Kim here in Colleyville, TX sponsored me for all my IM events, so yeah he was down with it! Thanks for the kind words…

Dan

Yeah, much easier to laugh about it now… Thanks, I will need the luck on the Ultra, gonna be a crazy ride…

Dan,
I must say hats off to you! What a great journey and what a wonderful road ahead you have paved for yourself!
