Seems like Ironman France got problems with the tracker already out of T1, load of athletes disappeared including RVB and Skipper

Field for the European championships at Elsinore seems weak on the mens side, not a comment on the athletes, just in terms of big names

With 3 viable races in Europe for long course athletes it's not entirely surprising we've got slightly watered down fields in each. And I say that as someone who waters down fields myself!

He said No why would I be nervous. If I get a flat tire I have my flat kit. And If I weren’t racing I would be out training anyways. Or something close to that

Crazy to watch that video after seeing his flat. He did just make up about 3 minutes in 25k….watch out!

On the woman’s side it looks like Tamara is gonna take it. If she can hold steady on the bike, there’s no one in the field that can put run her.

He's now +1:23 up through 66km. Guy is smashing this bike.

Sam outbiked, but had a solid run

For sure (seeing splits at 66km). She is riding well (compared to the weakish competition) and heading for a sub-4:12 total time and likely increasing her chance of the third/fourth AQ slot for the Collins Cup (unsure if Jeanni Metz is injured).
