I buy 3-4 suits / year for my son. I usually buy from proswimwear in the UK & save 30-40%.
Even at a really nice discount 2 mens suits set me back $390 CAD. Speedo Pure Valour BTW

Can't imagine having girls and paying full price like most Americans seem to.

So he's using those 3-4 suits throughout the year? What's the reasoning behind needing that many throughout the year? Do they not last as long anymore? Is there data that shows after so many swims they aren't as fast?

Sorry for all the questions... just trying to understand the thought process as a former swimmer. I haven't followed the evolution of suits for 10 years or so.

Edit: is your son wearing the suit for every meet he competes in? Or just the big ones when rested/tapered?

I seem to remember the selling point of this suit is cooling? Is there any performance data or is it just Blu is fast, therefore the suit is fast?

This could be a real test of how effective a marketing campaign around a single sponsored triathlete can be.
