Zwift out of sync

Recently I’ve had trouble with Zwift being out of sync with my kickr core. The resistance of the trainer is late. For example, I’m going up a hill on the France map and I’ll be on a 8% grade spinning away like i’m on the flats. Then as I go over the top the 8% grade hits and I ‘feel’ the climb while the game is on the down hill. I’ve turned everything on an off a few times and checked for updates - no improvement. I use bluetooth and drive zwift with a MacBook. Any suggestions on a fix?

try running it off an iphone or ipad and see if the problem is isolated to your macbook or your trainer. my wife has all kinds of problem with her macbook/ zwift and finally just chose to run it off her phone with an hdmi adapter to TV

I notice it, too. I see it more pronounced on the new island, Makuri. I do see a bit in France, as well. Most of Watopia seems pretty close except for Titans Grove. Enough times at it and I remember where these anomalies are and adjust accordingly – shift gears and/or adjust my effort.
Chalk it up to technology being very cool, but not perfect.

I’m having the exact same problem. I’m running my Kickr Core / Zwift through my iPad 3. I’ve only been doing workouts from the library or custom workouts, so I haven’t noticed if it happens on just a standard ride of the available routes at different locations. I’ve unplugged, unpaired, redone the set up, and performed another sin down, but the problem persists. I’ve been too lazy… I mean busy, to reach out to Zwift or Wahoo. Hoping someone here has a solve, or someone at Wahoo or Zwift sees this.

Cheers.

Seems like I’ve fixed it. Switched to using ANT. Found the ANT stick that came with my 910xt and a USB-C adapter. Turned off bluetooth on the laptop and connected everything through ANT. Did one of the France routes and had no issue. Must be signal drops with bluetooth? I figured if that was the case you’d see that in the power or cadence numbers, but maybe not. Also odd as I’ve been using bluetooth for over a year without issue until recently.

Thanks - seems like I fixed it by switching to ANT.

Same thing happened to me today after a year of no problems. Reading 15W too low and not ramping with the intervals. I got mad at it and turned it off, unplugged and will try again tomorrow – running off the newest Apple TV.
