Hi all,
I’ve narrowed my wetsuit selection down to two choices, the Zoot synergy and the Blue Seventy Synergie, and was wondering if there was a general consensus on which suit most prefer?!?.. I know I should go by fit, comfort, etc, but was wondering if there were any strong opinions, or if both are more or less comparable?

Love my Zoot, I have had it for this season and have done a couple of sprints, one oly and one 1/2IM swims in it. Love it…it fits great and I have had zero rubbing issues without the use of body glide. I have also found it easy to get off…

The zoot has a lower neckline that I found to be very leaky. The B70 probably wont leak as much.
I didn’t test the B70 Synergie, but I have held one and examined it very closely and talked to some people who swim in it. It’s #39 rubber just like the zoot. It is a solid body of 5mm rubber on the chest where the zoot has 3mm panels on top of a 2mm core. The zoot with it’s panels really means you get short changed 5mm rubber between the 3mm panels. Does it float less? Who knows but I’m pretty confident panels aren’t faster then smooth rubber. I’m just not sure it really works as well as they think it does. The b70 I tested was extremely fast and the features it has come down to the suit you are looking at. You don’t get the #40 rubber sleeves. The cuffs on the B70 were better then the zoot, could be a function of rubber or design. Thats my opinion though.
If I were you i’d swim in both of them if possible and select the one that was the fastest.
