Zoom Fly - potential PSA, if these are the same

Does anyone know if the Zoom Flys that they sell at the Nike Outlet stores are the same as the “regular” ones?

currently on sale for USD 78

EDIT: some people have rightly pointed out below that this site is not legitimate (has a gmail address top left corner). I can’t believe I missed that! But I have seen Zoom Flys in person in factory outlet stores for less than regular retail so the question is still valid… are you getting the same stuff if you buy at the outlet vs regular nike store…

Read the language …very non American and a gmail email! I think copy’s!

Ha… I didn’t even notice that! good catch!

any large corporations would use .com addresses for their US-based sites.

Been around too long… the gmail is the real giveaway!

They could be 3rd shift copies made in the same factory…heck…why not?

But I still have the same question… I’ve seen Zoom Fly at the factory outlet in person for USD 100 before (maybe USD 110, can’t remember)… would those be the same as the full priced ones you get at the “regular” Nike store (or other authorized retailers)?

Yes. Nike Factory Stores can/will/do sell Flys, and they are the same shoe.

The website you linked however, is not a Nike Factory Store. It’s a well know (and Google AdWords purchased) site that sells knock-offs.

I picked up some zoom flys at the Nike outlet store in San Marcos Texas for 90 something dollars. Real zoom flys.

I don’t know for sure what percentage of Fly’s are heading to the Outlets, but it is clear that is happening.

I know its time to finish off last year’s model in favor of a new launch this summer. I am hopeful that it is coming soon, as I am running in Vapor Streets right now, and would really love the extra stiffness of the plate combined with that giant wedge of React foam.

I have no idea why this is such a common idea in the west about how name brand goods are made in Asia.

Yes, Nike certainly does not own the factory. However, there is a very robust system in place to ensure that all the shoes produced in the factory to Nike/Adidas/Cervelo/Scott/name-brand-here 's specifications and that all of these are accounted for and in the possession of the brand.

Factories that can obtain contracts from major brands like Nike have to meet very difficult criteria and aren’t going to risk these contracts for shipping grey market goods out the back door. If the price of an authentic name brand good is too good to be true, it’s not true.
