Recently bought a 2009 Cannondale Slice Ultimate and already have the race wheels I’m going to use (bought here).

Wheels are Zipp top of the food chain 700c Zed Tech tubulars with fancy shmancy dimpled all carbon wheels, ceramic bearings and the works. Retail they are over $3,000 for a set… I find this price to be crazy expensive but I don’t make the prices. I’ll sell them for $2,000 and you pay the shipping - whatever puts 2k in my pocket. I can even show you the purchase date if you doubt the “newness” of the wheels. They are amazingly well put together and light as a feather.

Also included are a set of Vittoria tubies and glue. You can google for specs and here’s a pic of the stock bike:

I really don’t know what 404 / 808s mean. I’m pretty unschooled in the race wheel dept.

Btw, here’s where the wheels stand: I have a buyer for the front and a few folks have inquired about the rear. So, here’s what I’m offering:

Set for $1850 you pay for shipping and get wheels and skewers (no tires).

Or $1000 for rear and you pay shipping and Greg gets front for $850 and he pays shipping.

Don’t forget, these silly wheels retail for $3k+ as a set you maroons so don’t make me come over there !
