Zipp wheel and serial number sticker - what to do..?

I just peeleed off the stickers off my zipp wheel. I found that under one of the stickers, was a barcode and serial number sticker. For those of you who have peeled off your stickers, did you guys find this…?

Should i peel off this barcode/serial no. sticker…? Or do i put clear scotch tape over the barcode/serial sticker. The barcode/serial no. sticker adheres by itself to the wheel and needs no additional stuff to keep it on the wheel. The wheel now just looks plain goofy with an all black stealth look and a little white/black sticker.

I cut a piece of black insulation tape to cover the barcode. I suspect they would dislike having it removed so hiding it seemed the best option.

Duh…! I shoulda thought about that. When u say “insulation tape”, you mean electrical tape, correct…?

that thing is baked in. So take a sharpie and paint it over. in case if you need the serial for any warranty issue, wipe the sharpie off with alcohol.
