Zipp Vuka Bull reach and brake OD?

As the subject says, does anyone know (or can measure) the reach on a Zipp Vuka Bull? I called their tech support and got some BS answer about “we don’t measure that, because it depends on how you install it.” Really? I kinda thought that a ruler could tell you the reach on a drop bar, track bullhorn or basebar… I’m currently running a 90mm stem on the Visiontech alloy basebar, and it has about 135mm of reach (my measurement). I’d like to get the reach somewhat close to my current setup without buying several different expensive stems.

Also, anyone know the outer diameter at the brake lever ends? They spec the inner diameter at 19.7mm, but I’m not sure if my clamp-on Visiontech levers (for 22mm OD bars) or the 3T levers (for 24mm OD bars) will fit.

For aero cockpits, the standard reach measurement is to the back of the armrest pads. With this thinking, just a basebar does not have a reach. I believe that is why you received the answer you did from our tech support.
What reach measurement are you looking for?
The OD is 22.7mm.

I’m just looking for the distance from the centerline of the stem clamp area (where the stem and clip-ons clamp) foward to the end of the brake hood ends. This is the equivalent of “reach” for a basebar, and is typically spec’d that way on track bullhorn bars. I figured that the same dimension would be measured for a basebar too. Thanks for any info!

To add a little detail, here’s a picture for reference.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty much standard, especially for base bars that don’t tip up at the end of the hand grips.

It’s a shame that many companies can’t get on board and publish some of the basic specs for base bars.

On the lastest versions of Vuka Bull, It is 119mm from the center of the clamp area to the end of the grip.

Awesome, that’s just a little bit less than on my current Visiontech alloy basebar, probably not enough to matter a lot. I should be okay with about the same stem length. Ordering parts now!

I can confirm that the reach measures about 120-121mm on the bar I just received, and the brake lever OD is about 22.5-22.8mm, depending on where exactly you measure it. The Visiontech bars are exactly 0.875" (22.2mm) OD, so the small difference of ~0.4mm (0.016") should be close enough to fit.
