I was looking on the Elite Bicycles site and saw that they had bikes with matching Zipp wheels. I know the white, black, and red are the standard colors for the 2005 Zipps, but I’m considering buying some and thought it would look cool to be able to match the Zipp colors to my bike. It looks really good on the Elites. Does anyone know if this is an option? Can a dealer order these as a special from Zipp?
Are we talking matching decals or matching paint? You can go to a sign shop and get matching decals, but I am not one who thinks painting wheels is all that good of an idea. You are adding weight, and with carbon’s propensity to chip paint, it would not be cool when you have to pay to get the wheels touched up.
