Zipp 404 tubular tire pressure question

I just bought a used pair of zipp 404 tubulars (650’s). The tubular tires allow for up to 160 pounds of pressure. I am not sure what Zipp suggests for the 404s. What do others genrally use for tubulars?

those wheels don’t care what pressure you run, but the tires will.

Depending on your weight run at least 100lbs and probably not more than 120.

enjoy your new wheels

I used to run about 140 in mine, until I read that 120 is about optimum.
More comfy too.

Great wheels! Love mine. Just wish they were clinchers, in case I flat.

160 is for the track. No mor e than 120 for the road, perhaps less depending on your weight.

Hmmm…does it depends on tire? I run the Zipp Tangente and was told by my LBS to run them at 140. I guess it also varies depending on road conditions as well as whether it’s wet or dry.
